Here’s my thoughts , ✍️ I’ve been looking for a good quality fountain pen, especially local Indian brand Since other refills like gel pens don’t meet my needs as a heavy user, I highly recommend fountain pens for everyone. If you’re new here, check my youtube channel here - www.youtube.com/@shashvinparthiban The thing is, with fountain pens is there’s a lot to consider – the ink, the paper, the nib size, and of course, the pen itself! You don’t want to waste money on something that won’t last. I initially considered a brand called Wality, specifically the (Kalaingar) pen, but I couldn’t find it anywhere online. So, I ended up with the Lamy, a brand you might already know. Try Wality too. You must check out this youtube channel called Inked happiness, he’s a pen reviewer - https://youtu.be/zuVZm3ADWtc?si=r1uAXWchTJmDbxaL Paper quality is so important. GSM, which stands for grams per square meter, is a key factor. Above 80 GSM is good, but I personally suggest using paper above 100 GSM. What model I’m currently using
Here’s what I loved about it:
Smooth Writing Experience - The steel nib delivers a smooth and consistent writing experience, even for those new to fountain pens. and you can buy nibs that are sold separately Some things that don’t work for me:
Overall: The Lamy Safari is a well-deserved classic. Stay creative, Have a nice day, Bye.👋 Shashvin. |
